Ven. Oeun Sam Art was born in 1977 at Choam Ksant village, Choam Ksant Commune, Choam Ksant District, Preah Vihear Province. He received the Bachelor degree of Arts and Humanity (English Literature) from the University of Asia Europe University in 2007, Bachelor degree in Business Management from the University of Cambodia in 2009, and currently, M.A candidate in Human Resource Management at the University of Cambodia.
He is currently a Personal Assistant to The Great Supreme Patriarch of Kingdom of Cambodia, Chief Office of Protocol and International Relation of The Secretariat of the Sangha Leading Governing Body of Kingdom of Cambodia, Vice-office of Admin and Finance of Preah Sihanouk Raja Buddhist University, and Representative of Youth Network For Change(YNC).
Topic “Winning in Business”
Mr. Somethearith Din is a co-founder of the Frangipani Villa Hotel Group (five branches in Phnom Penh and three branches in Siem Reap). He is an architect and after serving three years in UN-HABITAT, he won scholarship for his Master Degree in Urban Management, at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok, Thailand. He has been worked in urban development field for more than ten years for The World Bank, ADB, JICA, UNDP, UNESCAP, UN-HABITAT, DANIDA, OXFAM Netherland (NOVIB), then was successfully becoming a Country Manager for UN-HABITAT in Cambodia. He and his other two friends have started their hotel business with little capital since 2007, and made their business very successful. He and his business partners have achieved their financial freedom since 2010.
Putheary is an oldest child in her family with two younger brothers and two younger sisters.
She dropped primary in grade 4 and started working when she was 16 as a waitress in local hotel in Phnom Penh. Soon after, she was promoted as cashier and continues to work there for about 4 years.
After work in hotel industry, she had begun to work in development industry as a Project Supervisor for Association of the Blind in Cambodia. She spent most of her time in villages to do eyes check and some training to blind people. Early 2010, she started working for So! Nutritious Co,.Ltd as an Operation Manager.In late 2011, she helps found SmallWorld Camodia long with three other Cambodian guys. She hopes with her contribution to SmallWorld would help to grow her dream and at the same time would help others.
Putheary’s dream is to own a restaurant, where she can provide Nutritious Food for people to be healthy and enjoy living life. Her favorite quote that live with her every day is” IF IT IS TO BE, IT IS UP TO ME”
Topic “ករី”
Pou Khlaing was born in Kompong Soum, with music blood in his family, his father a wedding traditional band member. Pou started to have a connection with Khmer traditional musical instruments seen then, but his favorite one is Skor Dey (Khmer Drum) since he was just 7 years old.
At the age of 17, Pou joined the first biggest music competition in Sihanouk Ville Contest. He did not win the first price but got a title of the most popular (entertainer) singer of the city. He also had a name of ‘Karaoke King’ by the Discovery channel show called ‘The Lonely Planet’.
Music makes him speak a different language with a different tone and an indescribable feeling. He aims to deliver that specialness to the audience. Music can actually talk life to people. Topic “Importance of Learning Management System (E learning Platform)”
Sopheakmonkol Sok, Currently he is a database Manager at Hanuman Tourism Company and he is also a lecturer at Specialized Economics and Finance institute.
As he is a strong interest in educational development and technology, he would like to share his passion and his commitment in facilitating the teaching professions to love and enjoy doing their work by presenting his experience and his knowledge about the use and the benefit of Learning Management System.

Topic “fitness industry in Cambodia”
Richard Chin spent his adolescence surviving the Khmer Rouge Regime atrocities by moving from province to province. When the Vietnamese took over, he fled to the border and was sponsored into Australia. Arriving to a new world as a 14 year old, he found another set of challenges; the culture, the food, learning to communicate, and later having to compete with Australians for school grades and eventually, to get a good job. Of all the school subjects, P.E (Physical Education) was where he excelled; it was here that he built his confidence and self-esteem. He competed in all sports: Volleyball, Martial Arts, Track and Field, Swimming, Gymnastic, and Body Building.
He returned to Cambodia in 2003 to do part time work and held jobs teaching recreation activities. He suddenly seized an opportunity to become Fitness Centre Manager of his own gym and created Aus-Fit which is a popular space on the 3rd floor of De Castle Diamond – Toul Kork.
Richard’s presentation will feature the fitness industry in Cambodia, covering points such as health issues, fitness education and the demands and opportunities of becoming a professional fitness trainer in Cambodia.
Topic “Job opportunity for Youth”
Ms. CHAP Chamroeunkunoet has more than 10 years experience in many international NGOs, during that period, she earns a lot of experiences in management, training, financing as well as advocacy and laws establishment. One of her prowess accomplishments were when she received acknowledges of accomplishments award from both her professional and academic.
She is currently a Managing Director of Human To Human Cambodia (HTH), a Professional and Promising Recruitment Agency in Cambodia.

Chea Kagnarith graduated from the Institute of Foreign Language in 2005 and then received a Fulbright scholarship in 2008 to do his MA in Linguistics. Presently, he is employed as a Campus Manager for the Australian Centre for Education (ACE) in Phnom Penh.
Vice President of Asia Real Estate Cambodia Co., Ltd. (ARC)
Mr. Narin took the helm of ARC in Dec 2011, early in his career, Mr. Narin has spent almost 10 years working for the local real estate company, he has started from scratch in 2001 from the position of graphic design to Vice President. He has long experiences with national and international companies. He graduated Bachelor Degree of Information Technology and Master Degree of Management at Built Bright University.
Topic “Youth and ASEAN integration 2015″
Mr. Lim Nguon is double majoring in economics, at the University of Cambodia, and Business Administration, at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia. Due to his academic excellence, he has been awarded with the exchange program scholarships to sharpen his skill and deepen his specialization in Thailand, United States, and Japan. He has been actively participating in various extracurricular activities, including organizing students’ study trips, cultural exchange programs, fund raising, community work, debate on environmental and gender issues, and other various social works. He also volunteered as the liaison officer and supporting staff for the ASEAN Summit and related meetings during Cambodian Chairmanship in 2012.

Sophiep Chat is an independent management trainer and leadership consultant with local and international development organizations and private companies. Sophiep’s unique aptitude is in understanding the role of attitude in performance and he offers self-help techniques in how to shift it to create optimal results. On 1st of December Khmertalks, Sophiep will share his insights and widely invite interaction from participants to discuss about strategies for successful career.
Samnang Chhun is a software caftsman and freelance web developer. He also a Co-Founder of ShareVision Team, voluntary team to build up software communities in Cambodia, and an organizer of Pailin (Ruby/Rails User Group). Samang is an alumni of Ruby Mendicant University. He used to be a mentor in few online Ruby courses. Samnang have been programming for 10 years. He develops softwares for his living and hobby. Samnang feel blessed to have been able to enter a profession that he love. “ I like solving problems, hacking, and making things work.”
