Hunky was born and raise in a farmer family in Banteay Mean Chey province. She is a kind of person who likes to smile and sees the other smile.
Hunky is newly graduated Electronic, Automation and Telecommunication Engineering with honor recognition from Institute of Technology of Cambodia.
As newly graduated students found herself to be more involve in social projects. She really believes in value of sharing and helping each other to build better life and community through good heard. Beside, engineer she also very interested in entrepreneurial world. Processing of Social Business is one of her dreams, since she thinks that it will profit a lot of interests to the society, and it will be a sustainable business because we grow together and no one is harmful of Business Succeed.
She is going with SmallWorld to see the growing up of Young Cambodian Entrepreneur. The ideas are great and they will be useless if they are still the ideas. So if you have ideas, please spread it out or make it to be concrete.
Currently, she is Community Event Organizers at Smallworld and also an engineer at Comin Khmer.
Sophanna HOR 22, was born and raised in Kampong Cham Province.
He loves Robotic. He is very good at Control System and Maths. Every week he creates something new that make him happy, useful for society, and his friends. It is one of his favorite hobbies, he does 8 hours every week.
Sophanna graduated in Electronic, Automation and Telecommunication Engineering from ITC. Currently he is taking charge as community event organizer SmallWorldCambodia and a founder of ArrowTech that working on Electronic and robotic to serve our everyday live.
Furthermore, he is a leader of Khmer Engineering Club that focuses on Open share and Meet Creative Khmer and other creative engineers.
Sam R.Sakada is a highly experienced ESL teacher, working as an English lecturer at a number of prominent universities and private schools. He strongly believes that young people should deserve a second chance and love. He said, “Without a second chance and love from my parents and friends, I would have ended as a street gangster like some of my friends.”
Currently, Sakada is also a highly sought after self-development trainer who has delivered customized training for various NGOs and businesses. His specialized courses include goal setting, team building and leadership. His roles in SmallWorld are to ensure a proper accounting system and to develop businesses. Currently, he is also a co-founder of SmallWorld, social collaborative workspace, and a founder of www.khmerenterprises.com, aiming to support and partner with local startups in Cambodian.
Chhunn is professional trainer on leadership and management, and our Meditation GURU. He has a degree in Buddhist Philosophy with an English language major from the International Buddhist University (MCU) of Chiang Mai, Thailand. While studying for his degree, he also served as President of the Cambodian Students Association in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and for many years, was the Volunteer Teachers Leader at the International Meditation Center (also in Chiang Mai). Currently, he is a Co-Founder & Training Manager at SmallWorldCambodia where he is responsible forpeacekeeping, community & interpersonal communications, cultural preservation, philosophy and holds trainings for groups of students on personal development, team building, and youth empowerment. In parallel, he also works as Senior Trainer for PossibilitiesWorld, a company delivering Leadership Development and Management solutions. As a freelancer, he provides training and translation to a+b=3, a company that brings Financial Education to low-income individuals, families, schools, communities, as well as small businesses, to help them manage money and/or run their business more efficiently. His own project, dharmatravelers, was formed to teach students and young people the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle (personal/family/business/
community). He uses this model to guide his students towards self-empowerment to build commitment, self-belief and determination. Meditation is an important pillar in these teachings. This project will also work closely with the generation and their children severely affected by the Khmer Rouge period, and who still suffer from anxiety and recurring memories. His passion is to see young Cambodians live their dreams, goals and passions and to help them build inner-peace through true understanding.
Vannak Lach, Sithi Project Coordinator: Vannak has over 4 years’ experience working at local and international NGOs. Before joining CCHR in August 2012 he was a programmme manager at SmallWorld, responsible for research and advocacy; budget management of his project; and the creation of monthly newsletters, quarterly reports and the annual report. Vannak has previously worked at the PEPY organization as a communications coordinator and as a sponsorship assistant at ActionAid Cambodia. Vannak is a founder/organizer at Khmer talks, a recurring event organized by young Cambodians who devote their time and energy to building youth networks and sharing ideas and experience with other young Cambodians He holds a bachelor’s degree in Media Management from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, a TESOL certificate, and he has completed a course in Media and Intercultural Communications at Flensburg University, Germany.
Ao Hangchhay graduated Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at Build Bright University and on his pursue of his Master’s degree in IT at Norton University. Now he is working for Hunman as data base manager . He is one of Khmertalks organizers both in Siem Reap and pp. He likes social events and always wants to join the event that related to sharing idea and knowledge. He hopes that in the future Cambodian people will have a lot of human resources who like sharing knowledge and helping each other. He also joins with his classmates to build an entertainment website called www.khnew.com.
Tep Sovichet , is a grade 12 students at Chea Sim Santhormok High School. Besides studying, he is a member in Khmer and Technology Association, Bamnang – Web Development Team and Admin of http://it4ug.net. He likes to spend his spare time work on social project and helping other young Cambodia to understand the value of sharing and helping each other are the ways to help build society as well. He believes that KhmerTalks will help Cambodian, especially young generation, to find new solution to develop their own self.
Sarath is doing his Bachelor degree in Computer Science at Royal University of Phnom Penh, Phnom Penh. Beside, learning in the class, he is a member of Bamnang web development team, which provides and supports website development and design based in Phnom Penh. He is one among many Open Source lovers who has been running a group called Khmer Open Source (KOS) on Facebook group in supporting Open Source communities in Cambodia. In particular, he is also a website developer and graphic design of Dharmatravelers. He enthusiastically believes in the power of sharing and learning. The reason that he is joining KhmerTalks team because of inspiring ideas from many successful people who are going to gather and share their ideas and also experience and works of life.
Soth Sothearak in spite of having many issues occurred, Sothearak got his first job in Royal Cambodian Navy as Navy officer at the age of 18. He joined military, particularly Navy, in 2007, and he got promoted as First Lieutenant, known as Lieutenant Junior Grade in US Navy Rank, in 2011, just before he was sent for military training in USA in Nov 2011.
Currently, he has been actively volunteering without specific term or contract in Junior International Chamber-Cambodia in term of environment-related projects and individual development projects. As a result, he has learnt a lot about project organizing and self-improvement from the senior JCI who are mostly business owners and high position employees. In early 2013, he will be officially JCI-Cambodia-Phnom Penh member in the field of Individual which focuses on individual training.

Chea Kalyan is currently a sophomore of majoring design at SETEC Institute. She is majoring in interior design. She can speak Chinese and English fluently.
Besides studying, she would like to spend her spare time as a volunteer in social events. In 2012, she had experienced as a volunteer at BarCamp Phnom Penh and BlogFest Asia 2012. And she is very excited to join Khmertalks team.
SRUN Keavatey, is a junior of international studies at Institute of Foreign Languages as well as a junior of economics at Royal University of Law and Economics. She is always enthusiastic and passionate in doing community services since she was in high school. It is her ambition to see Cambodian youths love community services and join hand with one another to develop our community, “our society as well as our wonderful country to be a prosperous one”. She believes KhmerTalks is a very good forum for sharing ideas, knowledge and experiences to young Cambodian generation throughout the country.
Heng Muoy Kea holds a certificate of bachelor degree of Management Information System at SETEC Institute. She has satisfactorily completed level 12 of the ACE General English Program.
In 2011, she was an I.T Intern of Human Right Network Project at Cambodian Center for Human Right. She enjoys to join and to be part of volunteer to any social events.
YORT LAICHHEANG was born and raised in Kandal province. After high school he moved to Phnom Penh in search for higher knowledge and to fill his curiosity. Currently, he is a second year student of Institute of Technology of Cambodia. He loves to spend his spare doing social event. He believes that Kmertalks is the best place to learn and share. That’s why he is very happy to join Khmertalks team.
Phorn Chandara is year 4 student of Electronic and Automation Engineering at ITC. He is also a member of ArrowDot who is a group of electrical engineering that developed and tried to share their knowledge of technology to young generation of Cambodia. He believes that Khmer Talk is useful event who can spread the knowledge. I really enjoy being a volunteer of Khmer Talk.
Ho Seanhong was born and raised in Battambang province. He fnished high school in 2010. Currently, he is doing for his B.A degree majoring in English in year two at Mekong university and year three at the Institute of Techlogy of Cambodia majoring IT comunication. He hopes his knowledge and experience would hlpe Khmertalks team, that’s why he is very passionate join organize Khmertalks.
Sreu Tola is a 3rd year student at Institute of Technology of Cambodia. As a students Tola always seek an opportunity to some volunteers in any Events. As he believes volunteer would help him to build more connection and understand how to work properly once he finishes school. He really believes that Khmertaks is a forum where the knowledge and experiences are provided. He is really excited to join Khmertalks team.
Hun Sovisal was born and raised in Kandal provice. He is a third year student in faculty of Agro-Industry at Royal University of Agriculture and second year student of English literature at PreahSihamonyraja Buddhist University. In his free time he likes to read the books and share what he as read with his friends reading books. As he is very passionate about food industry, in the future he wants to be a food scientist and run his own business to produce the quality and safety food. He is very excited in joining Khmertalks team as believes in the power of sharing.
Lom Seilboth was born and raised in Kompong Cham province. He is newly graduated from Preah Sihanouk High School. After high School Seilboth is eager to know what is like life at university that’s he decided to move to pp for higher education. As a student Seilboth, opens himself to do volunteers in various events as such Khmertaalks. He believes will be a forum where young Cambodian would benefit through the value of sharing and learning center.
Sean Si Borey was born in Phnom Penh. He is in freshmen year at Cambodia Mekong University and also study English at IFL. He loves social work, astronomy, Khmer culture, architecture. He like to sharing personal experience. In free time he like to go to library, ride bike cycle, and hang out with friends.
Chun Socheata is a grades 10 student at Preah Sihanouk High School, Kampong Cham Town. She loves reading, serfing the internet and voluntary work. She is really enjoy voluntarying work, she believe that it can contribute to Cambodian youth and inspire them to help develop her home country. Her dream is to see Cambodia become a great country with all Cambodian youth working together and helping each other.
Srour Sorkunthika is a 16-year old Srour Sorkunthika was born and raised in Kampong Cham Province. She is now in grade 12. She loves meeting new people, and eagerly experiencing new useful things like helping community or involving in social events. “I feel I am one part to make changes in the society,” she said. Believing that only through social involvements can she help improve her social skills and help others, she tends to volunteer in the Khmer Talk event.”
Po Ly is a freshman at CamEd business school majoring in Accountancy. Besides studying he has passion and love towards music and poetry. Right after graduated from high school, he’s been fondly seeking for voluntary activities, charity works and social events. He’s currently collaborating with SmallWorld along with many other volunteers altogether organizing a project known as KhmerTalks. He’s believing in the idea that “Ideas worth sharing must be shared”.”
Rithy Thul was born and raised on an island southern of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. He loves cycling and adventure activity. He write, tweet, and facebook about Life, Love, Leadership, Business, Social Entrepreneurship, Bicycle and adventure activity. Rithy live his life under curiosity and self-exploration. A line that explain him is “Live Curiosity and adventurously, stay happy, and always keep moving forward”.
