What is KYE?

KYE stands for Khmer Young Entrepreneurs. It is neither a company nor an NGO. KYE is a committed community that allows dreamers and innovators regardless of ages to meet and share ideas through online conferences, public speaking events, such as KhmerTalks, and other monthly meet events.

Who are we consider as KYE-er?

easy to speaking,KYE is the open community sharing knowledge, projects, and/orlife’s goal. Anyone who doing any projects or start any small businesses that indicate their initiative, creativity, and energy to drive and inspire others would count as KYE-er. He/she does not need to be in a KYE group because their is not such thing is a group for KYE-er.

Why is their such thing as KYE google group, Facebook group, and website?

The fact that KYE has google group and other groups online is because all of us need tools to communicate each others.

Who own those group?

No one own them. There are only moderators who will take care of spam mail.

What is the different between KYE and KhmerTalks?

KYE is a group of same-minded people who are interested in sharing opinions, learning new ideas, meeting new friends to start up a business or a socially beneficial activity according to what the majority like.

KhmerTalks airms to have two social idea-sharing events every year. In 2011, KhmerTalks will be held on May 28th.

What do people do there?

We meet up in order to connect to new networks, share new ideas from how to eat safely to how to generate high business ideas, and how to set up a business.

What do we believe?

We believe ideas become greater and more powerful when shared. We hope that in the years to come, there exist businesses or social projects that will connect to each other and new projects will be started from the KYE community.

Do I need to pay for participation in the monthly meeting?

It does not require any participants to pay any amount to come to the monthly meeting. If participants would like to share or make some contributions, they can. They can give whatever amount they feel comfortable to do, according to the actual cost of the meeting day that they are at.

How much is for one-time meeting that happens every month?

Usually, the cost depends on where we hold the meeting. Some place costs up to 30$ per afternoon. Sometimes we can find a free space for meeting so all is free. Either way we also prepare some snacks for people, perhaps one bread each in the afternoon.
